Man City 16/5 to beat Arsenal and keep another clean sheet
Competition: Premier League
Market: Man City to ‘win to nil’ against Arsenal
Odds: 16/5 @ Coral
With Manchester City enjoying a superb run of form – winning four consecutive league matches without conceding a goal – they are being backed by Coral (with odds of 16/5) to repeat the feat when they travel to face Arsenal at the Emirates this weekend.
Since the mini slump to Chelsea & Norwich, Manuel Pellegrini’s men have taken 13 points from 15 without conceding a single goal in the process. They recently beat Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford and are showing little signs of faltering now.
Arsenal couldn’t be in worse form. The Londoners lost 6-0 away to Chelsea, then followed it up with a 2-2 home draw against relegation-threatened Swansea City. Manager Arsene Wenger admitted his side need all three points to stand a chance of winning the title this season, but they are coming up against a side who put six goals past them in their first meeting in December.
The Gunners haven’t been too prolific in front of goal away from home against the top sides either. Wenger’s men have failed to score in three of their six away meetings against top-7 outfits – of which they’ve also lost four. Such a stat will give the resolute and free-scoring Manchester City hope they can stretch the clean sheet run to a sixth consecutive game this weekend.
