Market: Los Angeles FC to beat Borussia Dortmund
Odds: 7/2 @ Bet365
With the European leagues coming to an end, Borussia Dortmund will travel to the Banc of California Stadium to face MLS side Los Angeles on Wednesday.
For the hosts on Wednesday, the MLS’ latest franchise have enjoyed a stellar start to their first campaign in the Western Conference. After 11 matches so far this season, The Whites currently sit second in the Western Conference and also boast the second best-attacking statistics in the division. With a record of six wins, two draws and three losses, Los Angeles have now lost just one of their last seven matches in the MLS, winning four and drawing two. Along with their attacking form, it will be their recent success at the Banc of California Stadium that will fill the hosts with confidence. Los Angeles are yet to be beaten at home in any of their six outings so far this year.
As for the visitors, Borussia Dortmund will be looking to make an immediate impact as former nice boss Lucien Favre will take charge of his first game of the Yellow and Blacks. After finishing fourth in the Bundesliga table and despite securing Champions League football for next season, the visitors begun to struggle at the back end of the 2017/2018 season. After 34 matches last season, Dortmund won 15, drew 10 and lost nine, however, the former Bundesliga runners-up’s have now only managed to win one of their last six matches in all competitions, losing three and drawing two. More worryingly for Dortmund, the visitors have now failed to keep a single clean sheet in any of their last four and have also conceded 10 games in those four appearances.
