Liverpool 6/4 to miss out on a top-four place in the Premier League
Competition: Premier League
Market: Liverpool to miss out on top-four
Odds: 6/4 @ Coral
Liverpool’s poor start to the new Premier League season continued with a shock 1-0 defeat at home to surprise package Aston Villa this weekend. The Merseyside outfit are currently in eighth place in the table, with six points from four games.
Last season, the Reds finished second in the league, and came so close to winning the Premier League title, but they dropped points at the tail-end of the season that saw Manchester City eventually take advantage.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have already lost two games in the league this season, and are losing ground on the pacesetters. The sale of Luis Suarez looks to have hit the side hard, and when they are without Daniel Sturridge too, the Reds have little in attack.
Coral are giving odds of 6/4 for Liverpool to miss out on a top-four place this season as a result, with their form having been a let down early on in 2014/15, and their pending Champions League campaign also potentially playing havoc with their league form the following weekend after a midweek clash.
