Leicester City’s Nigel Pearson 11/2 to be the next manager to exit his post
Competition: Premier League
Market: Nigel Pearson next manager to exit his post
Odds: 11/2 @ Betfair
After Leicester City suffered their sixth Premier League defeat in eight games, manager Nigel Pearson finds his position under threat. The Foxes are now rock bottom in the table after 13 games, and have continued to lose to the sides around them.
City are currently just one point adrift of safety, but their form has been a real worry, picking up only two points since September. Pearson has found himself as the subject of criticism due to his penchant to watch the game from the stands to get a better view, with supporters feeling the players need his support in the dugout.
Betfair are giving odds of 11/2 for Nigel Pearson to be the next manager to exit his post, but he’s not alone. Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert hasn’t won a game in his last nine, and is also facing pressure from the supporters. Hull City boss Steve Bruce is also a name in the reckoning as the Tigers have struggled to pick up results despite heavy investment in the summer.
