Leicester City 2/5 to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season
Competition: Premier League
Market: Leicester City to stay up
Odds: 2/5 @ William Hill
Leicester City earned their third Premier League win on the bounce, beating Swansea City 2-0 at the King Power Stadium, which marks an incredible turnaround for the Foxes. Nigel Pearson’s side are now level on points with a side outside of the drop zone, and even have a game in hand on the majority of teams around them for good measure.
Prior to their upturn in form, City had lost six and drawn two of their last eight games, and suffered losing streaks of four or more defeats on three occasions this season. They looked down and earlier in the campaign, but wins against West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City sees William Hill giving odds of 2/5 for the Blues to avoid relegation.
Leicester fans will not have anticipated such a turnaround in fortunes, but three consecutive wins now sees their destiny in their own hands at a crucial point to the campaign. The Foxes next face Burnley in the Premier League, which could effectively be a decider, as defeat for the Clarets would see a five point gap open between the two sides.
