Leicester City 1/1 to suffer relegation from the Premier League this season
Competition: Premier League
Market: Leicester City to suffer relegation
Odds: 1/1 @ William Hill
Leicester City are ensuring a terrible run of form in the Premier League. The Foxes earned promotion from the Championship last season as comfortable table-toppers, but Nigel Pearson’s side look destined for the drop as things stand. Their recent 0-0 draw at home to Sunderland was their seventh Premier League game without a win, while having failed to score in five.
Fellow newly-promoted clubs Burnley and Queens Park Rangers occupy two of the three relegation places in the Premier League – with Crystal Palace the other side in the drop zone – but Leicester are in danger are sliding down the table if they can’t end their winning drought.
Since City’s incredible 5-3 home win against Manchester United, they have barely mustered a goal, let alone another win in the league. As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 1/1 for the Foxes to be relegated from the Premier League this season, as their side lacks the quality capable of staying up.
They desperately needs goals, and with Liverpool (home), Tottenham (home) and Manchester City (home) as three of their next six games, City could be in real trouble.
