Legia Warsaw 2/5 to win the Polish league title this season
Competition: Polish Ekstraklasa
Market: Legia Warsaw to win the title
Odds: 2/5 @ 888 Sport
Legia are currently top of the Polish Ekstraklasa, with 46 points from 25 games. They are three points clear of second-placed Lech Poznan at the business end to the season, but did recently lose to their title-rivals which allowed them back into the race. They would have been home and dry had they avoided defeat.
Managed by Henning Berg, Legia are the holders of the Polish league title, and have been dominant over the last couple of seasons, winning the title in 2013 & 2014. If they could win their third consecutive title this season, it would be a very impressive achievement, but their job is far from done given they’ve been beaten by their nearest competition only recently
They look set to be ran close by Poznan, who themselves have come close in the past. They won the 2010 title, but have since fallen short in following seasons. The campaign is coming to a close, and it’s very tight between the two sides at the top, but 888 Sport are backing the leaders Legia with odds of 2/5 to win their third title in a row.
