Leeds United 7/2 to get relegated from the Championship in 2014/15
Market: Leeds United to get relegated
Odds: 7/2 @ Bet 365
After losing last season’s top scorer Ross McCormack, who has joined Fulham this summer, Leeds United are in trouble. The Whites have a new manager, whose last job was at Blue Square Premier side Forest Green Rovers, and owner Massimo Cellino has been taking charge of the contracts and transfers at the club. It’s leading many to believe there could be somewhat of an exodus at Elland Road this summer.
With so many players likely to leave, and a manager in charge who was little influence on the side, Bet 365 are giving odds of 7/2 for Leeds United to get relegated from the Championship this season. The Yorkshire outfit finished in 15th place in 2013/14, while enduring a horrific run of form in the tail end of the season.
It cost the job of previous manager Brian McDermott, and this summer a selection of their shortlisted successors turned down the chance to work with Cellino, which doesn’t fill supporters too full of confidence.
