Ipswich Town 17/10 to win against Wolverhampton Wanderers in Tuesday’s Championship clash
Competition: Championship
Market: Ipswich to win against Wolves
Odds: 17/10 @ William Hill
Ipswich Town welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Portman Road in Tuesday’s Championship meeting, and are expected to pick up all three points given the contrasting form between the two clubs. Ipswich are enjoying a lengthy unbeaten run – albeit not winning many – while Wolves have been suffering a consecutive run of defeats.
Mick McCarthy’s Ipswich Town side are currently 15th in the Championship table with 43 points from 35 games this season, having gone six unbeaten ahead of the visit of Wolves. The Tractor Boys have gone four without a win at home, losing only once, and will fancy their chances this week given the woeful form of the visitors.
Paul Lambert’s Wolverhampton Wanderers side find themselves 21st in the division with 35 points, coming off the back of five consecutive defeats. The Midlands outfit have struggled on the road too, picking up just one win in five of their travels, while losing three of their four games, and could come unstuck to Ipswich as a result.
A win could see Ipswich move into the top-half of the Championship table depending on other results. And given Wolves woes in recent weeks, William Hill are giving odds of 17/10 for the Tractor Boys to pick up all three points.
