Inter Milan welcome Udinese to the San Siro in the Italian Serie A on Sunday evening, and are favourites to come out on top to end the season on a brighter note against a side who can’t buy a win on the road.

Inter have struggled in recent weeks but did ended the winless run in their most recent outing, meaning they have some momentum ahead of this weekend’s clash. Stefano Vecchi’s Inter Milan are currently seventh in the Italian Serie A table with 59 points from 37 games this season, and without a chance to finish higher in the standings.

They could still be caught by Fiorentina a place below them so they need a result to ensure they aren’t overtaken on the final day. Inter have lost four of their last five, however, so their form hasn’t been the best. The Nerazzurri did win their most recent outing and should have too much for travel-sick Udinese.

As for the visitors, Luigi Delneri’s Udinese side are five places and 14 points worse off than Inter ahead of this weekend’s meeting, and have failed to win their last four games. Udinese have lost their last three away outings too, and William Hill are giving odds of 4/11 for Inter to win in Sunday’s league meeting as a result.
