Inter 5/6 to end poor form with a win over Palermo tonight

Inter Milan are in desperate need of a result against Palermo this evening, with Roberto Mancini’s side having dropped points in five of their last six league games. Their home form has been patchy too, but they will be hoping to finally perform at the San Siro when they welcome Palermo this evening.

A win could put Inter back into the top-half of the table, but it won’t be easy to pick up all three points given the strength of their opposition. Palermo have lost only one game in 13 in the league, and could be just one point adrift of a top-four place if they win, so they have plenty to fight for tonight.

The two sides played out a 1-1 draw in their last league meeting back in September, so this evening’s meeting promises to be a close encounter. Inter need a turning point to their season to start their climb up the table, and given they have only lost one of their past four meetings against Palermo, they will fancy their chances.
