Arsenal saw past Liverpool in this weekend’s clash, which sees them currently second in the Premier League table with seven games to go. The Londoners are seven points behind leaders Chelsea, but are boasting the best form in the division of late. Arsene Wenger’s side have won seven on the bounce, losing only one of their previous 11.

As a result of their fantastic end to the season, many have been tipping Arsenal to enjoy their highest league finish to a season for 10 years. 2004/05 was the last time the London side recorded a higher finish in the league than third, and supporters will be hoping they can finally end the wait. Many feel Arsenal can push for the title next season, and their form in 2015 gives reason to believe they can.

Ladbrokes are giving odds of 6/4 for Arsenal to retain their top-two place come May, but they have some tricky games still to come. Wenger’s men still have Chelsea and Manchester United to face, which could well threaten their chances, but recent form puts them in pole position.
