Hull City welcome Burton Albion to the KCOM Stadium in the Championship on Saturday afternoon, and are big favourites to pick up all three points.

Hull are expected to challenge for promotion this season while Burton are expected to be in bottom-half mediocrity, and the contrasting results in opening games could be telling to the outcome of this weekend’s clash.

Leonid Slutsky’s Hull City side have had a good pre-season and starting the Championship with an impressive draw on the road. The Tigers have won two and drawn two of their four games this summer, following that up with a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa at Villa Park.

They’ve beaten Benfica and drawn with Nantes and Ajax in pre-season which should give them some momentum going into this weekend’s outing.

As for the visitors, Nigel Clough’s Burton Albion side have won two of their last three games in all competitions, but one of them was a friendly and the other a cup game.

Burton have managed just one victory away from home in six outings in all competitions ahead of this weekend’s clash. As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 8/13 for Hull to win against Albion.
