Hull City 1/5 to get relegated from the Premier League this season
Competition: Premier League
Market: Hull City to get relegated
Odds: 1/5 @ William Hill
Hull City suffered a surprise defeat to Sunderland in Saturday’s Premier League clash which led to them dropping into the relegation zone as a result of Swansea City winning against Everton. The Tigers are one point adrift of safety with two matches remaining but may have given themselves too much work to do given the games to come.
Marco Silva’s side are currently 18th in the Premier League table with 34 points from 36 games, coming off the back of one win from their last five. Hull travel to face Crystal Palace who need a result to ensure of their own safety, while hosting Tottenham Hotspur a week later. With Sunderland and Middlesbrough relegated, there are three sides fighting to stay out of the final spot in the bottom-three.
Swansea City have Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion in their last two games, two sides whose fate is already sealed in the Premier League, and are likely to pick up more points than Hull as a result. Hull’s goal difference is five goal inferior to Swansea so the Tigers are likely to need one win to stand a chance of survival.
But the lofty task ahead for Marco Silva’s side sees William Hill giving odds of 1/5 for Hull City to be relegated this season.
