Gremio travel to the Estádio Independência to face America MG in the Brazilian Serie A on Sunday, and are big favourites to pick up all three points to potentially finish the weekend at the summit.

America MG are currently at the foot of the Brazilian Serie A with eight points from their 16 league games this season, and are coming off the back of seven consecutive defeats. The home side have conceded two or more goals in four of their last five, and are likely to come unstick against high-flying Gremio as a result.

As for the visitors, Gremio are third in the league table with 30 points, and have won four of their last five games ahead of Sunday’s clash at the Estádio Independência. Just two points adrift of leaders Palmeiras, victory for Gremio this weekend will see the away side go to the summit of the Brazilian Serie A.
