Girona travel to the Manuel Martínez Valero to face Elche in the Spanish Segunda Division on Friday evening, and are favourites to pick up all three points with the two sides have contrasting form in recent weeks. A win would see the visitors narrow the gap to leaders Levante, while Elche would move up a place in the table if they won.

Hosts Elche are currently 12th in the Spanish Segunda Division with 27 points from 22 games this season, having failed to win five of their last six. Elche have one of the lowest returns on home soil in 2016/17, having managed just two wins from their eight games at the Manuel Martínez Valero, and could come unstuck today as a result.
