Ghana 7/5 to continue winning run against the USA with victory in Group G tonight

Posted June 16th, 2014 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: World Cup
Market: Ghana to win against USA
Odds: 7/5 @ Coral

Ghana and USA have faced each other in the last two World Cups, with Ghana having emerged victories on both occasions. The two nations will meet for a third time in three consecutive World Cups, and once again Ghana are the favourites to get another victory, with Coral giving odds of 7/5.

USA have been in good form of late, however. They’ve won four of their last six games, conceding six goals. Ghana beat South Korea 4-0 earlier this month, but suffered 1-0 defeats to Netherlands and Montenegro.

Ghana boast the likes of Sulley Ali Mundari (AC Milan), Andrew Ayew (Marseilles) and Kevin Prince Boateng (Schalke 04), but have a very tough group as Germany and Portugal are the favourites to qualify.

USA do have their own stars in the team that will be pivotal to their chances tonight. Tim Howard (Everton), Geoff Cameron (Stoke City), Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders FC) and Michael Bradley (Toronto FC) are some of their most important players the team.
