Genoa 4/6 to see past cash-strapped Parma tonight

Posted April 15th, 2015 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Italian Serie A
Market: Genoa to win against Parma
Odds: 4/6 @ William Hill

Mid-table Serie A side Genoa face Parma tonight, who have been in much-improved form in recent weeks, but who are still struggling on the road. Genoa have been in good form themselves, picking up points on a regular basis in recent weeks, winning four and drawing two of their last eight games.

They beat Parma 2-1 earlier in the season, and have been strong on home soil, losing just once in front of their own fans since December 2014. Genoa are on course for a top-half finish as things stand, and they will be expecting a result against the lowly Parma to ensure they remain in the top-10, but could be met with some resistance.

Parma have won back-to-back games in the league against Udinese and leaders Juventus, so they are hitting some form at a good time. Their chances of survival, however, are very slim as they have a 13 points deficit to make back. Their away form has been worrying too, winning just once on the road, which sees William Hill giving odds of 4/6 for Genoa to make their home advantage count with all three points.
