Fulham’s Bryan Ruiz 11/13 to join Olympiakos this summer

Fulham midfielder Bryan Ruiz only has a year left on his deal, and with the London club getting relegated this summer, it was expected that he’d be exiting Craven Cottage for the new season. Following his impressive performances with Costa Rica in this summer’s World Cup, a number of clubs are interested in the man who signed for Fulham for £10M in 2011.

Olympiakos, Besiktas, Palermo, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray have been linked with the 28-year-old, but it’s the former who are the favourites with 888 Sport, who have given odds of 11/13 for Ruiz to join them this summer.

Ruiz scored two goals in five games in the World Cup with the South American surprise package, but only once for Fulham last season, before being loan out to Dutch Eredivisie side PSV.

He could be allowed to leave Fulham for free as the Cottagers are keen to get his high wages off their budget for their season in the Championship, and as his performances went stale in the Premier League.
