France 5/4 to see past Serbia in tonight’s international friendly
Competition: International friendly
Market: France to win against Serbia
Odds: 5/4 @ 888 Sport
France, coming off the back of an impressive win against Spain, face Serbia in another friendly tonight. Les Blues are unsurprisingly big favourites to get the win, with 888 Sport giving odds of 5/4 for France to emerge victorious.
With the likes of Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann, Mathieu Valbuena and Karim Benzema to provide the attacking threat for France, Serbia stand little chance of getting a result. Didier Deschamps’ side have enjoyed great form in the last 12 months, and their past record against Serbia is impressive.
France have lost just twice in their last 14 games. They’ve enjoyed victories against the likes of Ukraine, Switzerland and the Netherlands in the last year. They have also won three and drawn one of their last four meetings against the Serbians.
Dick Advocaat’s side may be underdogs, but they still possess quality. Aleksandar Kolarov is deadly down the left-hand side, while Branislav Ivanovic is solid down the right. They have Nemanja Matic and Zdravko Kuzmanović in midfield, with new Southampton signing Dusan Tadic and Liverpool’s Lazar Markovic on opposing flanks.
