Out-of-form Swansea City 8/11 to finish in the bottom half this season

Competition: Premier League
Market: Swansea to finish outside of the top-10
Odds: 8/11 @ Bet 365

After throwing away a 1-0 lead against Stoke City this weekend, which resulted in a 2-1 defeat, Swansea have now gone five Premier League games without a win. Garry Monk’s side started the new season in dream fashion, winning their first three games against Manchester United (2-1), Burnley (1-0) and West Brom (3-0), but their form has spiralled and many are worried it will be a disappointing campaign.

City have been poor on their travels, losing two and drawing one of their last three away games, but they have only picked up one point at home from a possible six too. Goals have somewhat dried up, with Swansea averaging just a goal a game from their winless run, compared to the six goals they bagged in their opening three outings.

This is their fourth campaign in the English top flight, with City finishing in an impressive 11th place in their debut campaign (2011/12). The Jacks followed that up with a 9th place finish in 2012/13, before finishing 12th last season. But as a result of such poor form Bet 365 are giving odds of 8/11 for Swansea City to finish the season in the bottom-half.
