Could In-Form Sunderland Get a Result at the Emirates?

Posted February 21st, 2014 | By: Soccerscore

Competition: Premier League
Market: Sunderland to Win or Draw
Odds: 12/15 @ Bet365

While Arsenal themselves are boasting a good run of form at home, with three wins and a draw from their last four, Sunderland should not be ruled out to pull off a shock result this weekend.

Backing both teams to score at 6/5 would be a shrewd move, while a punt on Sunderland at 12/15 to either win or draw could also reap the rewards.

The Gunners have been patchy of late, and they haven’t been scoring many in the league either, with just one win in from four, averaging 1.25 goals per game in the process.

Gus Poyet’s men, on the other hand, are boasting the third-best recent away form in the Premier League, taking an impressive 12 points from six games on their travels – all the while remaining unbeaten.

Winger Adam Johnson has been in fine form for the North-East side, scoring six goals and making two assists in his last five league games. He’s 6/1 to score anytime at the Emirates this weekend.

With Arsenal 1/3 to beat Sunderland at home on Saturday, the return isn’t as fruitful. But a punt on the in-form Black Cats at 12/15 to either win or draw could see a tidy return on your investment.
