Fleetwood 13/10 to beat Burton in the League Two playoff final

League Two playoff finalists Fleetwood Town have enjoyed an unbelievable rise to the Football League, earning three promotions in the least seven years, and now they are just 90 minutes away from reaching League One.

Managed by Graham Alexander, the Cod Army face a Burton Albion side who they have both lost and won to this season. Most recently, they knocked Albion for four in the league, but did lost 3-2 at home in August.

Ladbrokes are giving Fleetwood Town odds of 13/10 to earn promotion via the playoff final against Burton, with the side only having lost two games from their previous 14 League Two outings.

But Burton still need to be beaten. They have endured a poor end to the season, losing three from their last five, but the formbook means little in a competition final.

Their manager Gary Rowett suggested there will be little between the two sides in the playoff final, and considering just four points separated the two sides over a 46-game league campaign, he may be right.
