Italian Serie A side Fiorentina welcome Azerbaijan Premier League outfit to the Stadio Artemio Franchi, Florence in the Europa League on Thursday night, and are big favourites to pick up all three points to potentially go top of Group J.

Home side Fiorentina are having an indifferent start in their domestic league, having lost just one of their five games but drawing the last two, and they played out a stalemate in their opening Europa League group game to PAOK. The Violas have picked up seven points from nine on home soil in the Serie A which could see them deliver against Karabakh.

As for the visitors, Azerbaijan Premier League side FK Karabakh drew their first Europa League game to the lesser-known Liberec, and have been inconsistent on the road in their domestic league, winning just one in three. Karabakh are underdogs with their inferior form and inferior quality of players, and Thursday’s clash is likely to go the way of Fiorentina as a result.
