Finland 21/20 to beat Greece in Thursday’s Euro 2020 qualifier

Competition: EURO 2020 qualifiers

Market: Finland win

Odds: 21/20 @ Bet 365

Looking to extend their very impressive run at the start of qualification for Euro 2020, Finland will host Greece on Thursday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Finland may have opened their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign with a defeat, they have begun to show some vast improvements. Now winning each of their last three matches in Group J, the hosts have also recorded three consecutive clean sheets in each of those victories and have conceded just a single goal in any of their four qualifying matches. It is also worth noting that Finland have now won six of their last seven home matches across all competitions. Finland also secured a 2-0 win the last time they hosted Greece on home soil.

As for the visitors, continuing on what has been a very worrying run of form during qualifying for Euro 2020, Greece now look unlikely to force a route out of Group J. In their opening four matches this year, they have recorded just one win, one draw and two defeats, scoring six and conceding eight in return. Now sat five points adrift of automatic qualification, Greece also hold the second-worst defensive record in Group J. As for their recent run of results, Thursday’s guests have lost each of their last three matches across all competitions and have won just one of their last five matches on the road.
