Fenerbahce have been a dominant side in the Turkish Super Lig, despite the continued attentions of Galatasaray and Besiktas. Sarı Kanaryalar finished top of the pack last season, nine points clear of Galatasaray, and they are being backed to repeat the feat this season.

Despite their rivals boasting marquee talent, Fenerbahce have the likes of Diego, a free transfer from Atletico Madrid this summer, while defender Joseph Yobo returns from a loan spell. Add that to Raul Meireles, Emre Belozoglu, Mehmet Topuz, Milos Krasic, Moussa Sow, Dirk Kuyt, Pierre Webo and Emmanuel Eminike and you can see why they are such a strong side.

With the defending champions having won seven league titles in the last 13 years, Ladbrokes are giving odds of 5/4 for Fenerbahce to win it again in 2014/15.

Managed by Ersun Yanal, the Turkish side have finished in the top-two of the division for 12 of the last 14 seasons, so they’ve remained a consistent outfit all through the years. They certainly won’t surrender the title easily.
