FC Copenhagen and Ajax 1/1 to draw tonight’s Europa League’s clash
Competition: Europa League
Market: Copenhagen and Ajax to draw
Odds: 1/1 @ William Hill
FC Copenhagen welcome Ajax to Parken in the first leg of tonight’s Europa League last-16 meeting, in a game that could be close to call given the visitors would settle for a draw in the away leg while Copenhagen have been guilty of racking up stalemates in recent weeks.
Ståle Solbakken’s FC Copenhagen side are coming off the back of just two wins from their last five games in all competitions. The hosts are enjoying an unbeaten run stretching back to October but have drawn three times since mid-February which could see history repeating itself.
As for the visitors, Ajax are in fantastic form ahead of their trip to Parken, boasting eight wins and two draws in all competitions, but away games in Europe have all gone one way which leans towards a stalemate tonight.
The Dutch outfit have drawn three of their four Europa League away outings this season, and would likely take a draw if they could score an away goal. Copenhagen are underdogs over two legs and may be content with keeping the tie alive for the chance to win in the second leg.
As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 1/1 for FC Copenhagen and Ajax to draw at Parken this evening.
