Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a move back to Chelsea this summer, with new manager Antonio Conte looking to bolster his attack with physicality and a ruthless goalscoring threat to push for major honours in 2016/17.

Lukaku was sold by the Blues in 2014, and went on to enjoy a prolific spell at Goodison Park. However, the ambitious striker revealed a desire to leave the club this summer after the Blues suffered a dismal Premier League campaign.

Scoring 18 goals in the league last season, Lukaku certainly put himself in the shop window and has been linked with a number of sides ahead of the campaign as a result. French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly keen, but former side Chelsea are leading the chase for the 23-year-old.

Chelsea were Lukaku’s childhood club, and years prior to his move to Stamford Bridge he gave an emotion interview about wanting to live out of his dream of putting on the shirt and becoming a long-serving star. His first stint didn’t go to play as he hardly featured, but he could be returning as much more the finished article.
