Everton enjoyed a 2-0 win against Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Saturday afternoon to book their place in the semi-finals at Wembley, and the Toffees are now being backed to go all the way given their impressive record in the competition in recent seasons.

In the last four years, Everton have played 21 FA Cup games, losing only three in 90 minutes. The Blues have a real affinity in the competition, and have made the quarter-finals or further in four of their last five seasons. They have a great chance to win in this time, however, with fanciable teams left in the cup.

Crystal Palace, Watford and West Ham or Manchester United are the other sides left, and Everton would consider their chances great against any of the remaining outfits. With their Premier League campaign in pieces this season, manager Roberto Martinez will be desperate to succeed in the FA Cup.

Everton are considered favourites too as a result, with Bet 365 giving odds of 5/2 for the Merseysiders to lift the trophy in May. It would be their first piece of major silverware for 21 years.
