Everton travel to Villa Park to face relegation-threatened Aston Villa in the Premier League this evening, and are favourites to pile the misery onto the Midlands outfit, which will in turn boost their own hopes of a lofty finish in the table.

Roberto Martinez’s side have been inconsistent through the Premier League season, and currently find themselves in the bottom-half of the table as a result. But a win could finally see them into the top-10 depending on the outcome of the other games.

Villa’s form ahead of tonight’s clash will give Everton great confidence of coming out on top, with the home side having lost three of their previous four. Their home form was more impressive before a 6-0 defeat to Liverpool sent them crashing back down to earth, and with the Blues strong on the road, the visitors are favourites to win.
