England 11/8 to beat Croatia in Wednesdays World Cup semi-final

Now just one game away from booking their spot in a first World Cup final since 1966, England and Croatia will battle it out on Wednesday night at the Stadion Luzhniki in Moscow, the same venue that will host the final.
Starting with Croatia, after a dominating display in Group D, The Blazers turned themselves into arguably this summers surprise package. Winning all three of their matches in the group stages and finishing five points ahead of 2014 finalists Argentina, Croatia most recently dramatically come past Denmark and hosts Russia via penalties. However, with both of their last two matches going all the way to penalties, no team at this summers World Cup finals have played more minutes than Croatia and we believe fatigue will be their downfall on Wednesday.
As for England, although they were a squad billed as one for the future, Gareth Southgate’s side have secured The White’s first World Cup semi-final since 1990. Winning two and losing one of their matches in Group G, although they may have finished three-points adrift of fellow semi-finalists Belgium, England have gone from strength to strength and have come through Colombia and Sweden in their knockout appearances. Southgate’s side have now scored 11 goals in a World Cup for only the second time, also doing so in their victorious year of 1966.
