Dominant Spain 13/2 to win the 2014 World Cup

Competition: World Cup
Market: Spain to win the World Cup
Odds: 13/2 @ Bet 365

Contrary to what reports would have had you believe last season, Spain are still the most dominant force in football. This campaign was further proof of how other nations are miles off the pace. Forgetting that the World & European champions are Spain, their own league sides have been dominant in European competitions too.

Real Madrid recently won the Champions League in an all-La Liga final against Atletico Madrid. Seville beat Benfica in the Europa League final, with two Spanish sides making the semis. So despite many suggesting Germany are the next force in football, Spain should remain highly regarded.

And as a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 13/2 for Spain to win this summer’s World Cup. While the climate will be a struggle for them in Brazil, as shown during last year’s Confederations Cup, Spain are still the side to beat in international football, and their players have enjoyed great success at club level this season too.

They’ll have Diego Costa spearheading the attack this summer, and the Brazilian born striker scored 35 goals in 44 games in La Liga & Europe combined.
