Czech Republic 1/1 to win against Norway in Friday’s World Cup Qualifier
Competition: World Cup Qualifier
Market: Czech Republic to win against Norway
Odds: 1/1 @ William Hill
Czech Republic host Norway at the Eden Arena in Friday’s World Cup Qualifier, and are favourites to edge victory on home soil. The Czech side haven’t had the best of starts in the campaign, but will be hopeful of turning things around to a Norway outfit having suffered a handful of defeats in recent internationals.
Hosts Czech Republic find themselves fifth in Group C with just two points from a possible nine. The home side drew against Northern Ireland and Azerbaijan, but suffered defeat to World champions Germany. The Czech Republic are yet to score in the qualifiers but their defensive record has been solid enough to earn them solitary points in games.
As for the visitors, Norway are one place and one point better off than their opponents, but the away side have lost five of their last six games. Norway’s only win of late came against minnows San Marino, a side every team in the qualifying group are expected to beat. Norway have a leaky defence too, conceding 10 goals in their last six games so the Czechs might end their barren run in front of goal.
William Hill are giving odds of 1/1 for Czech Republic to win against Norway in Friday’s World Cup Qualifier.
