Crystal Palace and Watford 5/2 to draw this afternoon’s Premier League clash
Competition: Premier League
Market: Crystal Palace and Watford to draw
Odds: 5/2 @ William Hill
Crystal Palace welcome Watford to Selhurst Park in the Premier League this afternoon, in a game that could be too close to call given the draw-happy visitors – while underdogs – have proven to be no slouches on the road in recent weeks. It’s also worth noting the reverse fixture resulted in a draw earlier in the season.
Sam Allardyce’s Crystal Palace are currently 17th in the Premier League table with 25 points from 27 games this season, coming off the back of three wins from their last five. The Eagles have still suffered two defeats from the previous four games and have the worst home form in the division so they are still vulnerable despite the recent resurgence.
As for the visitors, Watford find themselves 13th in the division with 31 points, having won two and drawn one of their last five games. The Hornets have gone three without a win overall, but picked up four points from their last three away games against Bournemouth, Arsenal and Manchester United.
The two side drew 1-1 at Vicarage Road back in December, and with Watford having racked up the sixth-highest amount of draws, William Hill are giving odds of 5/2 for today’s clash to be a stalemate.
