Crystal Palace 1/3 to stay up in the Premier League next season
Competition: Premier League
Market: Crystal Palace to stay up
Odds: 1/3 @ William Hill
With manager Tony Pulis prolonging his stay at Crystal Palace for at least another campaign, the Londoners are now hopeful of staying in the Premier League in the 2014/15 season.
Pulis led Palace to an impressive 11th place finish in the Premier League, with 45 points. He’s asked the club co-chairman Steve Parrish to be entrusted with funds to bring in new faces, while releasing a host of players deemed unsatisfactory for the new campaign.
As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 1/3 for Palace to stay up in the Premier League next season, but it will certainly be a bit more difficult than last time.
Palace don’t have vast resources to procure many signatures this summer, but Pulis does have a number of targets in mind, with Tottenham’s Michael Dawson and Gylfi Sigurdsson having been linked with a move this summer.
As a result, they’re hoping to stave of relegation, albeit with a bit more difficulty.
