Crystal Palace 10/11 to get relegated with tough run-in of games to come

After a 1-0 defeat away to Newcastle, Crystal Palace found themselves in a precarious position in the league table. Tony Pulis’ men are three points clear of Sunderland who are 18th, but have played two games more than the Black Cats.

With the remaining games to come for the Eagles, survival seems an impossible task unless they can pull of some shock results in the last two months. It’s easier said than done for the former Stoke manager.

Crystal Palace fixtures

29/03/14 – Chelsea (home)
05/04/14 – Cardiff City (away)
12/04/14 – Aston Villa (home)
16/04/14 – Everton (away)
19/04/14 – West Ham United (away)
27/04/14 – Manchester City (home)
03/05/14 – Liverpool (home)
11/05/14 – Fulham (away)

With the daunting task of having to face six top-half sides from the remaining eight matches, Palace certainly have the worst run-in to come. Tony Pulis has never been relegated as a manager, but he faces the biggest challenge of his career to keep the newly-promoted outfit in the top-flight come May.

Crystal Palace aren’t in good form either. The side are winless in their last five league outings, while scoring just one goal in total.

Are Palace in trouble?
