Coritiba 5/6 to win against Vasco da Gama in Sunday’s Brazilian Serie A clash

Posted July 1st, 2017 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Brazilian Serie A
Market: Coritiba to win against Vasco da Gama
Odds: 5/6 @ William Hill

Coritiba welcome Vasco da Gama to the Vila Capanema in the Brazilian Serie A on Sunday evening, and are favourites to pick up all three points to potentially finish the weekend third in the table if results go their way. Coritiba are the form side of the two and should capitalise on Vasco da Gama’s woeful away form.

Pachequinho’s Coritiba side are currently ninth in the Brazilian Serie A table with 15 points from 10 games this season, coming off the back of one win and three draws from their last six outings. Coritiba have been more convincing on home soil, however, boasting three wins and two draws from their five games at the Vila Capanema.

As for the visitors, Milton Mendes’ Vasco da Gama side find themselves sixth in the division with 15 points, having won three of their last five. However, Vasco have struggled on the road this season, losing all four of their away games, scoring only twice and conceding 11.

With Coritiba so strong at home while the visitors can’t buy a win on their travels, William Hill are giving odds of 5/6 for Coritiba to win against Vasco da Gama.
