Colombia lock horns with Peru at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Saturday for their Copa America Centenario quarter-final clash, and are big favourites to come out on top to book their place in the semis.

Peru made it this far in the tournament after finishing top of Group B with seven points from their three games. They enjoyed wins over minnow Haiti and giants Brazil, while drawing with Ecuador. They will be full of confidence going into their quarter-final clash, but Colombia should be a completely different animal at the MetLife Stadium.

Finishing second in Group A, Colombia booked their place in the quarter-finals with wins over hosts USA and Paraguay. They are coming off the back of a defeat to Costa Rica, but won’t be too phased given their place in the next round was already sealed. The gulf in class of their squad over Peru’s should be a key factor in Colombia making the semis.
