Chile’s Alexis Sanchez evens to score anytime against Australia in Friday’s meeting
Competition: World Cup
Market: Sanchez to score anytime
Odds: evens @ Coral
Chile are big favourites to see past Australia when the two nations meet on Friday, but forward Alexis Sanchez is one player the Socceroos will have to be wary of on the pitch.
The Barcelona man, 25, scored an impressive 19 goals and made 10 assists in La Liga in 2013/14, and has been a great servant for his country, making a staggering 66 caps already, scoring 22 goals.
As a result of his impressive showings for club and country, Coral are giving odds of evens for the forward to get on the score sheet against Australia, who aren’t expected to go further than the group stage.
Sanchez scored four goals in his last six friendlies for Chile, bagging a memorable brace against England in their 2-0 win at Wembley. He’s their danger man for the World Cup, and does have a lot of pressure on his shoulders to perform, as Chile are being backed by some to get out of their group which includes Spain and the Netherlands.
