Chelsea’s Fernando Torres 8/1 to make surprise move to Inter Milan

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has been linked with an exit, with the arrivals of Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid and Didier Drogba rejoining the London side on a free transfer this summer. With Romelu Lukaku also returning from a season-long loan spell, Torres may well be on his way out of the club as manager Jose Mourinho is overstocked with strikers.

While the likes of Torres’ old club Atletico Madrid are favourites to have him back in Spain, French side AS Monaco and Inter Milan have also been named as potential destinations too, with Inter being 8/1 from 888 Sport to sign the Spaniard.

Torres has been at Stamford Bridge since 2011, but his goal tally has been poor with the Londoners, despite playing his part in their best period of success. Inter Milan are in the market for a striker of European pedigree, and if they can get the experienced frontman firing again, he could be a success in Italy.
