After scoring on his debut for Chelsea, striker Diego Costa is being tipped to finish as the Premier League’s top goalscorer this season. The Spaniard, who signed from Athletico Madrid this summer, put in an impressive debut performance spearheading the Blues attack with the physicality and guile that his manager Jose Mourinho would have enjoyed witnessing.

Coral are giving odds of 7/2 for Costa to finish as the league’s top scorer this season, but the likes of Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge and Manchester United’s Robin van Persie will provide competition.

Last season, Costa scored 27 league goals in 35 games for his former side, and he bagged 10 goals in 2012/13. Mourinho made him his number one target for Chelsea’s attack, and with him scoring in his first competitive fixture he looks at home in the Premier League already.
