Chelsea slip-up makes Man City 11/10 favourites for the title

Competition: Premier League
Market: Man City to win the title
Odds: 11/10 @ William Hill

After a 1-0 away defeat to Aston Villa, Chelsea now find their title aspirations even more out of their hands as Man City could open up a three point gap against them if they win their games in hand.

With the freescoring side now finding their league form again, while boasting a much improved defensive record, William Hill are backing the Citizens with odds of 11/10 to take home the Premier League crown come May.

They face a tricky number of games to come – with Manchester United (away), Arsenal (away), Southampton (home), Liverpool (away) and Everton (away) five games from their remaining 11 that could well see City drop points in their race for the title.

While Chelsea’s recent defeat has given the initiative to Man City, the games to come suggests there could yet be another twist in the tale in the race of the title.

Chelsea are still currently top of the table, with 66 points from 30 games. But Manchester City have 60 points with three games in hand, that could open up valuable three point buffer on their rivals.

Is the title now City’s to lose?
