Chelsea 9/4 to draw away to PSG in first leg of Champions League second round

Competition: Champions League
Market: Chelsea to draw against PSG
Odds: 9/4 @ Bet 365

Premier League leaders Chelsea once again face French Ligue 1 holders Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League latter stages, which promises to be another close affair. Oddly enough, the Londoners haven’t looked as convincing in the big games as last season, despite boasting a stronger squad.

Jose Mourinho’s side have been the best side in the country, but have suffered poor form away from home. Paris Saint-Germain have struggled at times too this season, and are currently playing catch-up in the title race. Chelsea stand a good chance of winning away from home against the French giants, but are more likely to settle for a draw to keep it safe.

Mourinho trusts his men to win at home against any side in the world, so he’ll be more happy to keep Paris Saint-Germain at bay in the away leg, and will ensure his side come away with a draw, like he did last season when the two sides locked horns. As a result, Bet 365 are giving odds of 9/4 for Chelsea to draw away to PSG.
