Chelsea are coming off the back of a Champions League elimination in midweek, so they will be out to impress against Southampton on Sunday afternoon. The Premier League leaders now have only one competition to put all their focus into, and manager Jose Mourinho has been defiant in his aspirations to seal the title.

Southampton, despite their dip in form, will still look to make life difficult for Chelsea. Ronald Koeman’s men are desperate to secure European football for next season, and can still achieve their goals if they can end the season very strongly against elite opposition. Southampton recently beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at St Mary’s earlier this month, but had dropped points in their last three prior to that.

Chelsea are the only side unbeaten at home in the Premier League this campaign, but were held to a draw the last time the two sides met. The Blues are boasting a seven-game unbeaten run in the division ahead of Sunday’s meeting too, and as a result 888 Sport are giving odds of 3/5 to earn all three points against Southampton.
