Chelsea 15/2 to go the entire Premier League season unbeaten

Posted November 24th, 2014 | By: Crippy Cooke

Competition: Premier League
Market: Chelsea to remain unbeaten for the entire season
Odds: 15/2 @ Ladbrokes

Chelsea extended their lead at the top of the table to seven points with a 2-0 win against West Bromwich Albion this weekend. The Blues have 32 points from 12 games (10 wins, 2 draws) and have already faced the likes of Everton, Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Manager Jose Mourinho has talked down his sides chances on going the Premier League season unbeaten, but the London side certainly stand a good chance given the results they have picked up already. Chelsea have the second-best defence in the league, and have scored considerably more goals than the rest of the division.

Arsenal were the only side in Premier League history to have gone an entire campaign without losing, winning the title in 2014/15 with 26 wins and 12 draws from 38 games. With how Chelsea have blown away the opposition, while picking up results at Old Trafford, Anfield, Goodison Park, and the Eithad, Mourinho’s side certainly have a chance of going unbeaten until May.

The Blues boss once boasted an unbeaten home record that stretched more than three seasons, so there’s every reason they can do it home and away.
