Chelsea 12/5 to win the Capital One Cup this season
Competition: Capital One Cup
Market: Chelsea to win the Capital One Cup
Odds: 12/5 @ Coral
Chelsea’s recent win against Shrewsbury in the Capital One Cup fourth round was the fourth consecutive season that the Blues have made the quarter-finals of the competition. Jose Mourinho’s side scraped past their League Two opposition, but now they are just two three games away from the final at Wembley.
In 2012/13, Swansea City saw past the London side in the two-legged Capital One Cup semi-finals, which is the furthest they have gone since their 2008 final defeat to rivals Tottenham. Chelsea won the 2007 League Cup final, but have since only made Wembley once in the competition in the last seven years.
However, their squad has been considerably strengthened in the summer, and Mourinho has led the side to an unbeaten start in all competitions so far. As a result, Coral are giving odds of 12/5 for Chelsea to win the Capital One Cup this season. Manchester City are the holders, but have looked far from convincing so far.
