After winning the reverse fixture 3-0 last week, The Hoops will now welcome Alashkert to Celtic Park with one foot already in the next round of Champions League qualifiers, Brendan Rodgers side will be looking for another emphatic performance on Wednesday night.

Starting with the hosts, after another record-breaking year for the defending Scotish Premiership champions, Celtic are an overwhelming favorite to once again book their spot in the Champions League. In their 38 games last season, Celtic won 24, drew 10 and lost four, scoring 73 and conceding 25 in return, the hosts held both the best attacking and defensive record in Scotland. As for Alashkert, although the visitors may have claimed their third Armenian league title last season they have been drastically short of form entering the new year. Along with losing the cup final back in May, it is their form in front of goal that is the biggest concern, the Armenian side have now not scored in their last three.
