Celtic 1/6 to win opening Scottish Premier League clash against Ross County

Competition: Scottish Premier League
Market: Celtic to win against Ross County
Odds: 1/6 @ William Hill

Celtic kick off their defence of the Scottish Premier League against Ross County this weekend, with the Bhoys hoping to get their campaign off to a winning start. Ronny Deila’s side coasted to the title last season, and are big favourites to come away with the points against underdogs County on Saturday. Given the gulf in class, it could be a comfortable win for the home side.

They have managed to hold onto their best performing players of the previous season, and are in great shape to start the new term strongly. Last season, their form at home was typically formidable, while Ross County were inconsistent in the first-half of the campaign. They are regulars in the lower reaches of the table, and suffered two defeats to Celtic in 2014/15.

Deila’s men started the last season very slowly in his debut term, but will be looking to come out of the blocks fast now things have settled. They blew away the rest of the field in the tail end of the 2014/15 season, and are 1/6 with William Hill to come out on top against County.
