Celta Vigo 4/6 to win against FK Krasnodar in Thursday’s Europa League clash
Competition: Europa League
Market: Celta to win against Krasnodar
Odds: 4/6 @ William Hill
Celta Vigo welcome FK Krasnodar to Balaídos in the first leg of Thursday’s Europa League last-16 clash, and are favourites to come out on top given their decent form of late compared to the woes of the visitors on the road. Celta’s superior quality of squad should be telling with home advantage against an opponent who have been short of wins for some time.
Eduardo Berizzo’s Celta Vigo side have won two and drawn two of their last five games in all competitions, and have picked up some impressive results in their own backyard. Celta have lost just once at Balaídos since December and face a Krasnodar side who can’t buy a win on the road. With the hosts boasting three wins and three draws from eight Europa League games, Celta are no slouches.
As for the visitors, FK Krasnodar are coming off the back of one win since November in all competitions. The Russian outfit have gone three without victory ahead of Thursday’s game, and haven’t managed a win on the road since September which is likely to see them come unstuck this week. William Hill are giving odds of 4/6 for Celta to win against Krasnodar.
