With the chance to shore up their position in the playoff positions, Bristol City will welcome QPR to Ashton Gate on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, after continuing their impressive start to the New Year last weekend, Bristol City once again remain in pole position to book a top six finish. In their 30 Championship games this season, they have won 14, drawn eight and lost eight, scoring 38 and conceding 29 in return. With a points tally of 50, another win on Tuesday could see them climb as high as fourth in the table. As for their recent run of form, the Robins have now won their last eight matches across all competitions and are unbeaten in their last 14 appearances, a run that stems back to November.

As for the visitors, really struggling with their form in 2019, QPR have begun freefalling down the Championship table. In their 30 Championship matches this season, they have won 11, drawn six and lost 13, scoring 38 and conceding 45 in return. With a points tally of 39, the visitors now sit 15th in the table and are five points adrift of the top half. As for their recent run of form, QPR have now lost their last four league matches on the bounce and have conceded 11 goals on that losing run. It is also worth noting that the Blue and Whites have failed to win any of their last three matches on the road.
